MDF

Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF) is widely used in furniture, doors, and decorative panels, requiring adhesives that offer strong bonding, smooth finishes, and excellent resistance to heat and solvents.

IWG provides a range of formaldehyde-based, water-based, and hot melt adhesives specially formulated for MDF applications, ensuring efficient processing and long-term durability in both structural and surface bonding.

IWG’s adhesives support all key MDF manufacturing processes — from panel lamination to structural assembly and veneer wrapping:

Urea Formaldehyde Resin Powder

A one-component adhesive available in yellow or white, suitable for MDF assembly, veneering, and form pressing. It offers fast curing, high heat resistance, and non-shrinking glue lines, making it ideal for both cold pressing and high-frequency processing.


PG240 / PG2500

High solid content emulsion adhesives with excellent bonding strength and sandability. Ideal for finger jointing, MDF assembly, and composite pressing under cold press conditions.


60626

A high-performance adhesive for laminating surface materials such as paper or PVC onto MDF or particleboard. It features excellent solvent and heat resistance while maintaining strong adhesion with low glue usage.


EVA Hot Melt Adhesive (PG271-3)

Designed for veneering wood surfaces onto MDF substrates, providing clean bonding lines, fast setting, and strong heat resistance.
